A consistent further development

PreSonus expands its popular Faderport V2 DAW controller into a full-featured audio interface with a professional conversion rate of 24bit/192kHz with the Presonus ioStation 24c 2X2 USB-C 24-bit/192kHz. Key features include the touch-sensitive 100mm motorized fader with 10-bit resolution and 1024 steps. Fine adjustments and of course total recall after opening projects are thus possible at any time. The Presonus ioStation 24c 2X2 USB-C 24-bit/192kHz accurately reflects automations and can change them on the fly. Matching touch, write and read functions are available and can be conveniently activated via backlit buttons. In general, the illumination of all buttons in different colors ensures better visibility, so that working in darker rooms is no problem. The important transport section has also been made slightly larger and located separately in the lower area, so that you can conveniently switch between play/stop/loop etc. and the fader for mixing with one hand.

The Presonus ioStation 24c 2X2 USB-C 24-bit/192kHz allows you to connect two mic, line or instrument sources to 2 combo jacks and a pair of monitors via balanced jack outputs. The monitor mix control allows the user to smoothly mix direct and DAW signal and monitor through speakers or headphones. The connection to the computer is made via the fast USB 3.1 interface with USB-C connectors, which are kindly downward compatible with USB 2.0.

As with the predecessor, a 360° rotary controller including control surfaces for channel, panorama, scroll, click, marker, zoom and more has been integrated in the center. Despite the compact design, all functions have their place and good accessibility. Last but not least, the seamless integration with PreSonus' Studio One should be mentioned, as well as a footswitch connector for further control options.
