The Presonus StudioLive 16R offers a fully programmable 16-channel rack mixer that can also be used as an AVB stage-box for the StudioLive Series III consoles. The 16R Series III rack mixer is the perfect complement to a StudioLive Series console/ recorder. It can be used either as a simple stage-box or as a combination of stage-box and monitor mixer. Series III rack mixers and consoles can be networked via AVB, and StudioLive 16R can be easily connected to a Series III front of house console using a CAT5e or CAT6 Ethernet cable.
The StudioLive 16R can operate in 2x modes: 1. Stage-box Mode (the rack mixer serves as a pure input/output unit, operation is completely via the Series III console) or 2. Split Mode (FOH sound via the Series III console, monitor mix via the rack mixer).
