Presonus enters the next round with StudioOne Artist and offers with the fourth version further extensive, flexible and intuitivefeatures that further improve the workflow. Especially this version is an upgrade from older versions (1-3) to the current Artist version. The popular one-window philosophy with its consistent drag & drop functionality is once again convincing, while features such as pattern/step sequencers, 5 additional virtual instruments, real-time time-stretching, two synthesizers etc. provide more inspiration when composing, producing, mixing or jamming. Studio One 4Artist also comes with an unlimitednumber of audio tracks, MIDI tracks, busses and effect channels, a native32-bit audio engine with up to 384 kHz and 30effect plug-ins, which provides a comparatively professionalstandard at all times - even though it is"only" the slimmer version.
