Clarity and impulse fidelity

To dampen resonance peaks at higher frequencies, conventional dome tweeters are injected with liquid to increase their mass. In contrast, the custom-designed AMT tweeters in the Presonus R80 V2 use an incredibly thin, folded Kapton diaphragm (<0.01 mm). The resulting reactive response provides clear clarity and excellent impulse response.

Transparent listening experience

The Presonus R80 V2 uses an 8-inch, custom-coated, woven Kevlar woofer driver. Powered by a 140W Class A/B amplifier (biamped), the Presonus R Series deliver an open and clear listening experience.

With balanced XLR, balanced 6.3 TRS stereo, and unbalanced RCA line inputs, it's easy to connect from any audio interface, media player, or almost any other line source.
