The OPUS-QUAD by Pioneer DJ sets new benchmarks in design, functionality, and sound quality. This innovative all-in-one DJ system combines stylish aesthetics with exceptional performance, making it the ideal solution for discerning DJs. Thanks to the premium 32-bit D/A converters from ESS Technology, also featured in the DJM-A9, the OPUS-QUAD delivers crystal-clear sound at a professional level. With its 4-deck functionality, the system enables versatile performances, with each deck assigned a unique colour for optimal clarity. Flexibility is a top priority: the OPUS-QUAD features analogue inputs for devices such as turntables or CD players, along with integrated wireless connectivity for seamless pairing with Bluetooth™ devices. Additionally, it offers three USB Type-A ports and one USB Type-C port for USB sticks or external hard drives. The intuitive user interface simplifies navigation, even in extensive music libraries. Tracks can be quickly searched and selected using the 10.1-inch touchscreen. Features such as Touch Preview and the new Smart Rotary Selector, with its rotation and push control, ensure smooth operation. The Playlist Bank function allows playlists to be efficiently organised and navigated. A standout feature is the Zone Output, which allows music to be played in a separate area independently of the master output—ideal for creating relaxed atmospheres where conversations can take place undisturbed. The OPUS-QUAD delivers not only unparalleled sound quality but also maximum flexibility and user convenience, meeting the needs of modern DJs. It is a device that opens up new creative possibilities while maintaining the highest standards of aesthetics.
With matte black top and bottom and an earth-tone core, the Pioneer DJ OPUS-QUAD not only looks classy, but conveys an aesthetic that makes many other all-in-one DJ controllers look pale in comparison. As you would expect from Pioneer DJ, all the controls are club-standard oriented, making the Opus-Quad intuitive to use.
With the new, high-quality 32-bit A/D converter from ESS-Technology, the same converters used in the DJM-A9, DJ performances with the Opus Quad sound clearer than with any Pioneer DJ - all-in-one controller before, presenting the sound (depending on the quality of the sound sources) in clubs, lounges and bars on a whole new level.
The Opus-Quad enables 4-deck DJ performance via rekordbox, for which each deck layer can be assigned its own color and is taken over by the jogwheel lighting to keep a better overview of the different layers! This allows you to use four decks simultaneously, cue music tracks in advance or reserve a deck for external sources to incorporate any requests into the current DJ set.
With the new user interface, tracks can be found in no time at all via the 10.1-inch touch screen and touch module, even in the largest music collections. The Playlist Bank option provides fixed navigation between created playlists. Touch Preview plays a preview of the selected track and the new Smart Rotary Selector provides intuitive rotation and push control.
With the Opus Quad, many features can be conveniently controlled with the touch screen or with one finger via the XY pad function. For example, BeatFX can be modulated or crossfaded. The selection of sound colour FX includes six different effects such as: Space, Dub Echo, Crush, Sweep, Noise and an LP/HP filter.
The Opus Quad has a total of three USB Type A ports and one USB Type C port for connecting external media. This means that several USB hard drives or USB sticks can be used simultaneously with the Opus Quad. There is also the option to wirelessly control the controller with built-in Wi-Fi connectivity via the upcoming version of rekordbox or rekordbox CloudDirectPlay, or to pair a mobile device with the Opus Quad via Bluetooth™.
