To activate the hardware unlock, the controller must be connected via USB to a computer and powered on while the software is running. The software uses a handshake protocol to verify the controller's unlock status and automatically enables Pro features without requiring a serial number.
The Pioneer DJ DJM-S11 is a professional 2-channel, 4-deck battle mixer designed specifically for demanding performances with Serato DJ Pro and rekordbox. TOUCH FX enables simultaneous control of two effects with a single finger movement, while Touch MIDI allows direct control of DJ software – intuitive and efficient.
The effects section features 22 Beat FX, including new options like "Fader Pitch" and "Helix," offering creative possibilities for any set. Smooth Echo is an innovative effect that activates automatically when faders are moved or pre-assigned pads are used, allowing seamless transitions and expanding creative freedom.
The sixteen enlarged performance pads make precise play easier, especially during intense battles. In Serato DJ Pro, the Combo Pad mode allows the combination of up to four different pad modes simultaneously, opening up a wide range of creative options.
