The Pioneer DJM-450 is a 2-channel mixer that is ideal to partner with any multiplayer or turntable. Equipped with a Magvel fader combined with smooth EQ and channel fader curves, this mixer gives you an assured feel to your mixing. Sound Colour FX and Beat FX with parameter control open new creative possibilities, whilst a 64-bit digital signal processer allows you to enjoy warm, high-quality audio from both analogue and digital sound sources.
With a professional layout, mixing is instinctive on this mixer, with an EQ that allows you to balance the high, mid and low frequencies on any channel. Just simply choose your preferred EQ level, or you can use the isolator to eliminate each band to create your ideal mix. The professional FX engine in the DJM-450 allows you to engage eight different types of Beat FX (Delay, Echo, Spiral, Reverb, Trans, Flanger, Pitch and Roll) in sync with the beats-per-minute. You can also trigger four high quality Sound Colour FX (Dub Echo, Sweep, Noise and Filter) and use the parameter control knob to add more creativity to your mixes.
The DJM-450 allows you to use built-in FX and external FX from mobile apps at the same time, by simply connecting your smartphone or tablet via USB to engage instrument and FX apps. The XLR terminal and gold-plated RCA connectors deliver premium sound quality on all connections. This independent mic section allows you to use a microphone and the AUX input at the same time. Lastly a rekordbox dj licence key is bundled with this controller and you also get a free licence key for rekordbox dvs bundled for highly responsive scratch control from your rekordbox library.
I was in two minds whether or not to go for this mixer or the DJM 350 but I’m so glad I paid the extra as it has so much more to offer than the latter, most notably the built in sound card and also included in the box, both Pioneer DJ and Pioneer DVS software keys which are a few hundred quid on their own when bought separately. You’ll notice the rock solid build of the unit itself and quality feel of all the knobs and sliders straight away although it took me a few hours to work out how to use the sound effects and colour FX features properly it is well worth paying that extra couple of (hundred!) quid for. Awesome mixer! Can’t fault the price, communication and parcel tracking service provided by dv247.com either so buy with confidence 😉👍🏻
its a great 2 channel mixer with good effects and audio interface for traktor use. too bad there is no monitor level and its a little bit expensive but here is the best price you can find.
