The Pioneer DJ - DDJ-FLX6 is a 4-channel DJ controller for rekordbox and Serato DJ Pro. The Performance DJ controller is the perfect upgrade for owners of the DDJ-200 and DDJ-400 and is designed for intuitive and energetic performances. It provides the ability to mix songs from completely different genres and enhance sets with professional sounding scratch effects. The controller works as a hardware unlock device for rekordbox and also allows access to the DJ performance functions in Serato DJ Pro.
The Merge FX function allows you to create a dramatic build-up in the music with a simple movement of a single knob, and play tracks in succession that are normally difficult to mix in a set. Furthermore, the interaction of the new functions of the DDJ-FLX6 with the large jog wheels (incl. display for the playback position) provides completely new possibilities. For example you can sound like a professional battle DJ by using the jog-cutter function. This makes it possible to create official scratch sounds by simply moving the jog wheel back and forth. In addition, the Sample Scratch function, newly introduced in rekordbox, allows you to load sounds assigned to the sampler onto the decks and scratch them with your own samples.
Plug-and-Play for more freedom
With a built-in audio interface and support for DJ performance features, all you need to do is connect DDJ-FLX6 via USB cable to a laptop running one of the two software applications. This allows you to start DJing immediately without having to purchase a subscription. The controller comes with a license key for the FX Pack and the "Pitch 'n Time DJ Expansion" pack.
Merge-FX
Per deck DDJ-FLX6 offers four Merge FX pattern presets, each consisting of four effect categories (Build-FX, Build-Sample, Release-FX and Drop-Sample). In rekordbox you can combine these effect categories with 41 effect types and your own samples. This allows you to create more than 9,000 different patterns.
Jog-Cutter
When the mode is activated, you can play professional sounding scratch effects by moving the jog wheel back and forth without using the crossfader. A total of ten different scratch patterns are available.
Full-Size Jog-Wheels
The jog wheels of the Pioneer DJ - DDJ-FLX6 are the same size as those of the flagship multiplayer CDJ-3000, so scratching and pitch bending feel very familiar right away. In addition, the on-jog display allows you to keep an eye on the playback position.
Sample-Scratch
Thanks to Sample Scratch, DDJ-FLX6 allows you to load and scratch sounds assigned to the rekordbox sampler onto the decks. In Serato DJ Pro, the Scratch Bank can be used to trigger samples by pressing the Performance Pads.

Purchased some decks for my son for Christmas. A little late in the month and worried they may not arrive but communication was great and delivery fast and in time. Challenging time but this company have everything spot on!
I've been using the ddj 400 for a year or so and decided to upgrade to the flx6. I'm so happy I chose it, it's a beautiful looking and has loads of toys for me to enhance my mixing.
