The Phoenix Audio DRS-8 Mk2 is a modern 8-channel microphone preamplifier that meets all requirements of professional music production unconditionally. Like all amplifiers from Phoenix Audio, the DRS works with transformerless input and transformer-balanced output stages. This way a compromise is made between the meticulous, clean and fast signal reproduction of an electronic balancing and the fat and pleasant sound of a transformer circuit. The Phoenix Audio DRS-8 Mk2 is fully equipped with an integrated headphone amplifier; with it, the unit can also be used as a summing amplifier!
