The Peavey invective .120 was developed in close collaboration with Periphery's Misha Mansoor and is the ultimate tube amp for modern progressive Metal music. Here the Peavey invective .120 offers a three-channel preamplifier, which is supplemented by switchable boosts and a noise gate, while 120 watts of power promise brute volume reserves. In addition, the Peavey invective .120 two switchable effect paths offer a balanced recording output with microphone simulation and full MIDI compatibility.

Three channels with extensive sound options
Based on six 12AX7 tubes, it offers Peavey invective .120 three channels that cover the entire Gain spectrum from crystal-clear cleans to juicy crunch to burning leads. Even when using low tuned Extended Range Guitars, the amplifier convinces with an extremely precise response and reproduction. In addition to the " Pre Gain " and " Post Gain " controls, the Clean channel offers its own 3-Band tone control and a switchable one Boost with controls for "Drive" and "Tone". The Crunch and Drive channels have separate " Pre Gain " and " Post Gain " controls, with the 3-Band tone control, the switchable Boost and the integrated Noisegate are available to both channels together. Peavey invective with 120 Watt power from four 6L6GC tubes
The output stage of the Peavey invective .120 JJ 6L6GC is equipped with four JJ 6L6GC tubes, from which the mighty top section draws 120 watts of power and accordingly releases brute volume reserves when needed. With the "Half Power" switch, the power amp power can also be reduced to 60 watts, making the guitar amplifier ideal for smaller gigs.
Recording output and MIDI
Equipped Peavey invective .120 with a balanced MSDI output, which allows a direct removal of the top on stage or in recording Studio . The integrated microphone simulation ensures a particularly natural sound, which can be further tuned via the volume and tone controls. In addition, all functions of the Peavey invectie .120 can be activated via the MIDI so that the guitar amplifier can easily be integrated into complex rigs.

This amp is packed full of features, I am loving the 2x 9 volt outputs for pedals at the back useful if you dont want to run your whole board, Its a quiet amp even without the built in noise gate. definitely 5150 DNA Also good tones can be had at bedroom levels, although the amp shines best cranked a bit.
