The Peavey Headliner 1000 from the popular Tour series convinces with its full power of one kilowatt and the many sound options. In addition to switchable bright and contour presets, a graphic 7-band equalizer is available, which allows the sound character to be adjusted to the frequencies between 40 Hz and 3200 kHz, which are particularly important for the electric bass. In addition, a switchable optical compressor ensures gentle smoothing of unwanted level peaks, while the crunch mode with its rich overdrive particularly appeals to the rockers.
Additional effects devices can also be connected to the Peavey Headliner 1000 via the serial effects path. Thanks to the integrated DI output in XLR format, whose tap point can be switched before or after the tone control, nothing stands in the way of trouble-free removal of the power pack on stage or in the studio. The Ground Lift switch helps to interrupt unwanted ground loops.
Despite its enormous output power, the Peavey Headline 1000 weighs a mere 4.5 kg thanks to the modern Class D amplifier, making transport child's play.
Great delivery of sound across the spectrum which does change with an increase in volume. Put through a 4x10 cab it suits most large (pub/club) venues.
