I find that misleading. You get a snare and bass drum. They are loud. The snare has an adjustable nut to disengage the snare wires underneath which helps.
I bought this thinking I could practice quietly and use my foot along with my hands.
I have put an old folded pillow to deaden the noise of the base drum. For this money I wish Pearl made an acoustic set just for practice. It does fold up nicely so it can be put out of the way. That the most clever part. However, say you wanted to expand this kit? There is nothing much to attach anything to. Its loud!
