The Patchblocks PBMIX-3 is a three-channel analogue mixer that is operable via battery making it extremely mobile. The PBMIX-3 has an aux section with send and return connections, thereby allowing external effects to be incorporated or providing a fourth (stereo/mono) input channel. Two of the three stereo/mono inputs are equipped with line level gain (+/- 12dB) and one with instrument level gain (+/- 24dB).
There are level controls for the inputs of channels 1-3, aux send and master volume. Channels 1-3 are sent to the aux send channel by buttons, whereby only the volume of the send channel can be set. Furthermore, the send channel intersects the signals of the other channels pre-fader so that the send output can also be used as a headphone cue before live mixing. For this purpose, the output of the PBMIX-3 has a headphone amplifier. The battery of the PBMIX-3 patch is a LiPo that is sufficient for eight hours of operation and is charged via USB-C.
