Unique analogue Flanger with two independent LFOs
With the PRS Wind Through The TreesPaul Reed Smith sends a unique, all-around analog DualFlanger effect pedal into the race, with which never-before-heard soundscapes can be easily realized. The Wind Through The Trees' intricate through-hole circuitry features two independent LFOs with full adjustment capabilities that can be freely mixed to create subtle modulation or wild effect sounds.
Analog circuit with two LFOs
At the heart of the PRS Wind Through The Trees pedal are two independent LFOs for creating the classic flanging effect. While the dual Manual, Rate, and Depth pots allow precise adjustment of each LFO, the Mix knob smoothly mixes their signals to achieve a wide sonic palette ranging from subtly modulating, chorus-like timbres to wild, stormy sounds. In addition to the Rain pot, which determines the amount of output signal fed back into the effect, the PRS Wind Through The Trees has a handy "Added Highs" control that helps compensate for the treble losses that are inevitable with heavy modulation. Last but not least, the Mix control allows you to precisely tune the ratio of the flanger effect to the clean input signal.
