With the PRS SE Standard 24 Translucent BluePaul Reed Smith presents an electric guitar reduced to the essentials, which puts the sound in the foreground. Based on the Custom 24 design, it accordingly offers a classic construction of mahogany body with a violin carve top and set maple neck, which with the "Wide Thin" profile fits comfortably in the hand and the perfect basis for classical and modern playing techniques. The rosewood fretboard also features the typical PRS Bird inlays and 24 frets for a full two-octave range.
The 85/15 S humbucker pickups give the PRS SE Standard 24 Violin Top Translucent Blue a warm hi-fi sound

When amplified, the SE Standard 24 electric guitar delivers a versatile and modern sound spectrum thanks to PRS 85/15 "S" humbuckers on neck and bridge, equally suited for bluesy licks, searing riffs and singing solos. Thanks to the coil split option, authentic single-coil sounds are also available. Furthermore, the PRS SE Standard 24 Translucent Blue is equipped with the PRS Designed Tremolo, which convinces with its extremely smooth handling and features a high tuning stability.

Easy playability because of the wide/thin fingerboard. Pickup configuration gives lots of sounds to deal in. Very nice look. Same configuration on all parameters as the custom model except for the extra wood layer on body top. I am very satisfied with this guitar!
