With the PRS SE hollow-body Standard Dog Hair Smokeburst, Paul Reed Smith is launching an extremely versatile electric guitar from the SE series, which combines the stability and handling of an electric guitar with the organic sound of a hollow-body guitar. PRS Guitars uses a mahogany body with generous resonance chambers, which are closed off by the top and back made of the same wood, and a glued mahogany neck with an easy-grip "wide fat" profile. Furthermore, two PRS 58/15 LT "S" humbuckers with an authentic vintage sound provide the appropriate tone conversion, skillfully capturing the timbre of the hollowbody construction and delivering first-class sounds with a high degree of variability when played both Clean and distorted. Reliable Hardware in the form of a PRS adjustable wraparound bridge and precise PRS tuners complete the PRS SE hollow-body standard.

The guitar arrived in perfect tune. Finishing, electronics and mechanics are flawless.

I have used American models and honestly, the ratio of price/quality of the SE series seems to be up to the expectations.

With an Orange Crush 35RT both clean and cranked sounds are top, with no noise added at all. Very light and comfortable to play, by all means. Happy I finally decided to get it.
