Custom 22 with Semi-Hollow Character
The semi-resonant body of the S2 Custom 22 Semi-Hollow is made of mahogany and finished with a maple top, which allows a glimpse into the sound-coloring resonance chamber of the semi-acoustic electric guitar via the F-hole. The pleasantly grippy Pattern Regular profile of the glued mahogany neck also ensures agile playing characteristics on the 22-fret rosewood fingerboard, in which naturally Bird inlays mark the positions.

The PRS 85/15 "S" humbuckers of the S2 Custom 22 skillfully capture the resonant character and promise a versatile sound for almost any genre. Thanks to the 22-fret design, the 85/15 "S" Bass humbucker sits in the sweet spot of the second octave at the neck end, delivering harmonious tone colors with good tonal definition. At the bridge sits the 85/15 "S" Treble humbucker, a true powerhouse that promises juicy sounds in the gain channel, but also articulates clean sounds with volume dialed back.
Solid PRS Hardware
In combination with the proven PRS Designed Tremolo and the in-house Low-Mass Locking tuners, the S2 Custom 22 Semi-Hollow McCarty Sunburst Guitar presents a successful and more than road-ready hardware configuration. The vintage-style tremolo allows for dazzling pitch modulations, while intonation and string action can be precisely adjusted via six individual string saddles. The machine heads with clamping function keep the electric guitar in tune even with excessive tremolo use and speed up string changes considerably. Last but not least, a sturdy guitar bag, which protects the PRS S2 Custom 22 Semi-Hollow during transport, completes the scope of delivery of the electric guitar.
