Thanks to the HSH pickup configuration and the push/pull function of the tone control, the pickup versatile can be used individually or simultaneously. The sound variety of the PRS WoodLibrary is not only characterized by classic vintage sounds, but can also shine with a brute humbucker punch. There are no limits to its use in all genres. The extensive dynamic ratio between rich basses, assertive mids and a clear treble spectrum make the WoodLibrary Modern Eagle V electric guitar an all-rounder that is definitely worth seeing and hearing.
Excellent workmanship and hardware
If you take a first look at the WoodLibrary Modern Eagle V, there's no denying its extraordinarily chic design and high-quality workmanship. The swamp ash body carries a top made of cloud maple, making the unique wood grain with a high-gloss nitro finish a beautiful detail. The maple neck is complemented by a Ziricote fingerboard with 22 frets, which carry the classic PRS Vintage Bird inlays. The classic double-cut construction completes a rounded design, which is not only characterized by high-quality workmanship, but also delivers maximum playability. The Modern Eagle V also comes with a PRS GEN III tremolo and PRS Phase III locking tuners for precise tuning.
The additional toggles prove to be a flexible tool for pickup configurations that can be used individually for each genre.
Flexible pickup configurations
The pickups of the PRS Gitarre provide extensive switching options that allow all configurations and are characterized by versatile timbres that range from vintage to modern sounds. A TCI Treblehumbucker in the bridge position, an NS-01 single coil in the middle position and a TCI Basshumbucker in the neck position are responsible for the flexible sound. The 5-way switch can be used to control the bridge humbucker, middle single coil and neck humbucker individually, in combination or in full configuration, making the electric guitar a true all-rounder in terms of tone colours. In addition to the 5-way switch, there are two further toggles on the body that can be used to split the coils of both humbuckers and thus control all pickup configurations.
