PBone pTrumpet, blue 2.0
is a Bb ABS plastic trumpet. The mouthpiece is made of patented polymer. The advantages of this instrument lie in its low price and low weight (500 g). Thus, it is ideal for very young beginners or even at parades. Visually the pTrumpet 2.0 is a real eye-catcher. Sonically, the ABS plastic trumpet can be also listening. Comes complete with a pocket and 2 mouthpieces!

I’ve not played for 22 years so didn’t want to spend a fortune getting playing again. I opted for the pTrumpet 2.0 after reading a lot of reviews. I think it’s really great, close to a brass sound. It’s light weight, easy to maintain and easy to play. The valves were a little sticky to start but they bed in quickly. Great for a first trumpet or an everyday trumpet if you are traveling.
Features were rated low as it “only” came with a bag, no stand and no spare springs which I think other plastics do come with.
