The Ovation 8158-0 Standard Mid/Deep Molded Guitar Case is the official case for Ovation guitars with Mid-Depth and Deep Contour bodies. Made of rugged ABS plastic, the case effectively protects against impact and damaging weather conditions and is suitable for both 6- and 12-string models.
The Ovation 8158-0 Standard Mid/Deep Molded Guitar Case:
Case was simple to order and delivery was prompt. It's sturdy but light weight and fits the 12 string Custom Balladeer perfectly.0 The fit is snug, keeping the instrument secure when the case is moved / carried. There are protective metal studs on two sides of the case, extra protection when the case is laid on its side or stood vertically. When laid flat to open / close, the base has raised leg type things so the side of the case doesn't sit directly on whatever surface, so it won't end up looking scratched. Clasps feel secure when fastened. All in all I'd highly recommend this case for all but the most arduous transport circumstances.
