Woods and construction
The solid Sitka spruce top on the Lyrachord mid-depth bowl promises a fast-responding bass sound with a sonorous foundation, brilliant highs and a surprisingly high volume. The slim Nato neck with 43 mm nut width at the end of the Ovangkol fingerboard offers comfortable playing characteristics and enough space for nimble basslines with neatly placed fingers.
Pickups and Hardware
For amplified use on stage, the Ovation CEB44 acoustic bass also features a pickup system consisting of an OCP1000 slimline pickup and an OP4BT preamp, which impresses with a natural output of the bass tone and has a practical tuner in addition to the equalizer. Last but not least, encapsulated Die-Cast bass tuners guarantee smooth tuning processes and a stable Tuning of the Celebrity CEB44-1N New England Burst by Ovation.
