Ortega RUAR-HY

Concert Ukulele with Himalaya Design

The Ortega RUAR-HY convinces with a powerful and transparent sound and especially with its exciting appearance, which is significantly influenced by the top design, the exceptional maple fingerboard and the gold hardware. In addition, the lightweight construction produces a powerful and mid-range-rich sound that easily asserts itself in both Pickings and strumming. At the same time, the flat neck guarantees an exceptionally easy grip in all 18 frets. The eye-catching headstock is equipped with translated die-cast tuners that ensure easy string tuning. The concert ukulele is completed by a very thin matt finish.

Construction and woods

Since the construction consists of a laminated spruce top on a likewise laminated body made of catalpa, the ukulele produces a lively sound with distinct mid and treble frequencies. In addition, the nato neck promises comfortable playability. The fingerboard and bridge are made of maple.

Hardware and Design

Since the saddle and the 36 mm wide nut are perfectly matched, the ukulele intonates cleanly and precisely over the entire scale length of 380 mm, while the golden tuners ensure perfect tuning. The top features a fancy"Himalaya" graphic that adds an individual touch to the appearance.
