With the Ortega RCE170F, the traditional manufacturer presents a new model of its Family Pro Series. This series combines the most popular features of all Family series. This guitar is an entry-level model that is strongly oriented towards the flamenco style. Anyone who wants to get acquainted with this style of music is definitely well advised to do so. The instrument is also equipped with a pickup system to be able to present it on stage. For uncomplicated transport, the Ortega deluxe gig bag is included.
Due to its 4/4 construction, the RCE170F has a large soundbox that produces a full, assertive sound. This is supported by the cypress body and the solid top made of North American spruce, which also add distinctive highs and a fast attack.
The mahogany neck with walnut fingerboard is extremely comfortable in the hand, while even complex fingerings are easy to perform thanks to the 52 mm nut width. Access to the higher registers is provided by a convenient cutaway. Classical tuners ensure high tuning stability at the same time.
For a great performance on stage, the guitar is equipped with the in-house MagusPro/G pickup system. In addition to a volume control, it has a 3-band equalizer that can be used to adjust bass, midrange and treble independently. An adjustment to the ambient conditions or own preferences is thus easily possible. The system is rounded off by an integrated tuner for constant sound reliability.
The guitar is kept very natural and therefore especially suitable for those who prefer a discreet design. The grain of the woods is well accentuated by the high gloss finish and gets an additional interesting touch by the yellow stained finish. The appearance is rounded off by optical details such as the single-ring rosette, multi-ply bindings and black Classical tuners.
