With the Orange Terror Bass 500 the British cult company follows the countless calls of the worldwide bass community and revives the popular Terror top section for electric bass. Orange uses a hybrid of classic tube and modern Class D technology, so that classical sounds with enormous volume reserves are on the program. With the tube preamplifier based on the Orange AD200, the Orange Terror Bass 500 is particularly flexible and delivers crystal-clear sounds with enormous headroom and juicy low-end thrust in switchable clean mode, but also juicy overdrive for hard-rocking grooves. A classic 3-band tone stack is available for adjustment, while the tube-driven, serial loop-in path allows the connection of external effect devices. In addition, a balanced XLR output is available for direct bass pickup on stage or in the recording studio. With the 500 watt Class D power amplifier, the Orange Terror bass also provides sufficient volume reserves for powerful bass sounds that shake the walls.
