The Orange Crush Acoustic 30 from the British cult company is a practical acoustic guitar amplifier that is ideal for singer/songwriter performances in clubs and pedestrian areas. The handy acoustic combo features separate channels for guitar and microphone, whereas the effects section with chorus and reverb provides the most popular effects for acoustic guitar and vocals. A finely adjustable notch filter also helps to suppress unwanted feedback. Up to 30 watts of power and an 8" Voice of the World full-range speaker provide powerful and detailed output for both instrument and vocals. Separate channels for guitar and microphone

At the heart of the Orange Crush Acoustic 30 amplifier, there are separate channels for guitar and microphone, perfectly tailored to their intended use. In addition to a gain control, the guitar channel offers a 3-band EQ for precise sound adjustment and a pad switch for lowering the input sensitivity of high-output pickup systems. Furthermore, a colour preset enhances the presence of the sound image and slightly reduces the midrange spectrum. Besides the gain control, the microphone channel of the Orange Crush Acoustic is equipped with a 2-band EQ for adjusting the tone. If a condenser microphone is to be used, the mic channel provides switchable phantom power. A Mic/Line switch helps to adjust the input sensitivity.

Effects and notch filter

The Orange Crush Acoustic 30 features an FX section that includes reverb and chorus, the most popular effects for guitar and vocals. The Effects control not only switches between the two effect types, but also determines their depth, whereas the Level control determines the general effect volume. Another practical detail is the Blend control, which determines the amount of wet signal in both channels. The serial FX loop can be used to add additional effects. In addition to the Master Volume control, the Master section of the Orange Crush Acoustic features a Notch Filter, adjustable between 50 Hz and 6 kHz, which helps to suppress unwanted feedback.
