Guitar effect pedal with two identically designed filters
"Dual Moving Filter" effect pedal for electric guitar.
Analogue circuitry with digital control
Two identically constructed filter effects that can be used independently of each other
Control of the filters via the playing dynamics or an LFO
Three filter settings (low pass, high pass, band pass)
Six waveforms for the LFOs (sine, triangle, square, 2x sawtooth, random)
Rate control for the speed of the LFOs
Two sliders for the cutoff frequency of the filters
Sensitivity control determines how sensitive the filters react to the playing dynamics
Resonance control for the sound character
Volume control for the output volume of the filter effects
Sync On/Off switch for synchronizing the LFOs
Min/Max switch for bandwidth of Sensitivity and Rate controls
Separate input and output jacks for each filter
Connector for optional expression pedal
Relay-switched true bypass with Soft touch switching
Sturdy metal case
Operation with optionally available power supply
Dual moving filter pedal for diverse sound textures.
With the Old Blood Noise Endeavors Float Dual Moving Filter, the hip company from Oklahoma presents its own interpretation of the classic filter effect for electric guitar. With two identically constructed filters whose traditional digital nervous system controls analogue circuitry, the pedal delivers the familiar funky auto-wah sounds and wacky timbres with interacting elements. Thanks to dedicated input and output jacks, the filters of the Float pedal can be used as a true stereo effect, in series or in parallel.
Two identical filters
At the heart of the OBNE Float are two similar effects that work as High Pass, Low Pass or Band Pass to achieve different sound textures. The control of the filter sweep is done either classically via the play dynamics or via LFOs with six selectable waveforms. In addition to sliders for precise cutoff frequency adjustment, the float provides resonance control for the sound character.
