Hall effect unit with three sound modes for electric guitar
The Old Blood Noise Dark Star Pad Reverb adds three individual sound modes to the time-honored reverb effect, inviting you to explore soundscapes never heard before. The pedal is characterized by a straightforward operating concept that allows the perfect sound to be found quickly and intuitively: In addition to the reverb and mix controls, the pedal has two control knobs that directly influence two parameters of the selected sound mode.
Old Blood Noise Darkstar: Three sound modes, infinite sound worlds
In "Pitch" mode, the Old Blood Noise Darkstar produces an octave above and below the sound played, providing the popular shimmer sound. The intensity of each octave can be determined using the control knobs. The"Delay" mode provides an echo effect with adjustable delay time and feedback. For fans of old video game sounds, the octaveable "Crush" mode is also available.
Hold function and expression pedal
Another special feature of the Old Blood Noise Dark Star is the Hold mode, which is activated by a separate footswitch and keeps the sound played as long as the switch is pressed. If the Mix control is fully turned up, it is possible to play over the held sound. In addition, the Darkstar can be controlled using an optional expression pedal.
