The Ataraxic Iteritas Alia in silver from Noise Engineering is a digital oscillator with an extremely harsh character and wide-ranging possibilities. The newly released module is the successor to the Ataraxic Iteritas and is based on the ALIA platform. This VCO bites, chirps, creaks, rattles, radiates, pulsates, ticks; but it can also produce a beautiful sound! Anyone who likes atonal, artifact sounds, metallic, industrial and machine sounds or even office equipment from the 90s will get a lot out of this sound generator. Shape and Waveform are used to shape the basic sound, which can be modified in a wide range of ways using Noise, Comb (comb filter), Fold and TimeMod. Of course, all parameters, including the toggle switches, are provided with CV inputs. In addition to the original AI, there is a Hold button which, when pressed, ignores the incoming CV voltages and outputs the currently set sound. The module has also been supplemented with a sub oscillator whose frequency is exactly one octave below that of the main
Alia is an oscillator platform which, like Versio and Legio, allows the software to be exchanged. You can access the Alia page via the
