The NE8MX6-T's contacts feature a corrosion-resistant gold plating that contributes to lasting performance. The connector is CAT6A compliant and backward compatible.

What is CAT6A?

A cable with CAT6A-compliant connectors achieves speeds of up to 10000 Mbps (10 Gigabit) at a bandwidth of 500 MHz. Accordingly, it can handle numerous data simultaneously. It has shielded twisted pair shielding, whose twisted pair wires have another common shield. Interfering influences are excellently warded off in this way.
