The capsule of the KMS 105 vocal microphone is available exclusively for the Sennheiser SKM 5200/5000 handheld transmitter. The capsule head has a higher directivity and maximizes the front incidence of sound compared to the rear incidence of sound. The KK 105 S has a multi-stage acoustic filter made of wire gauze. The "Heavy Duty" version KK 105 HD has an integrated pop screen made of foam instead of the fine wire gauze screen of the KK 105 S, for even higher pop resistance. The foam pores also offer a greatly increased surface area and can keep extreme moisture away from the capsule. Neumann KK105S capsules are available in black and silver.
