The Neumann KH310 A is a three way, tri amplified active monitor.
The KH310 has been designed for use a nearfield monitor or for integration into a larger, multi-channel audio system and can be used in audio production, broadcast, mixing and mastering situations.
The KH310 achieves a world class level of audio reproduction by employing some key technologies carried over and updated from the Klein and Hummel that came before it. A mathematically modelled wave dispersion guide widens the monitoring sweet spot meaning that off axis monitoring can free the engineer from a fixed position and allows better integration into diverse monitoring environments. On the rear of the KH310 A are acoustic controls for further tailoring the bass, low-mid, and treble frequencies which allows you to compensate for any bass or treble build ups in the monitoring environment. The output and input levels can also be tailored for calibrating broadcast monitoring levels.
High quality components are utilised throughout the signal path such as neodymium magnets and dedicated drivers. This makes the midrange clarity un-paralleled in its class and makes critical listening of vocals and midrange frequencies effortless.
I've been using my Neumann KH310's for a few days now, I'm more then happy with them, they sound amazing, clear, detailed, punchy. Very well packaged. There were 3 different power cables in the box, including the UK one i needed, but for some reason DV247 decided to add an extra UK kettle lead for each speaker, so i have 4 kettle leads for each speaker now, its a bit wasteful IMO.
