Native Instruments presents the KOMPLETE Audio 6 MK2, a revised version of the universally popular audio interface, which not only convinces with its unique and elegant design, but also makes a significant leap in sound quality. On board are first-class converters, which allow recordings with up to 24-bit and a sample rate of 192 kHz, but also enough connections for flexible applications in the studio or on stage. While the front provides two combo jacks, the rear provides two line jack inputs, a digital SPDIF stereo input (Cinch) and a MIDI In. Four DC-coupled jack outputs, a digital SPDIF stereo output (cinch) and a MIDI output are available for the outputs. Furthermore, the four analog outputs allow the control of modular systems via CV, which makes integration into various setups easy.
In general, the Audio 6 interface is very simple and intuitive: The "clean," style is noticeable everywhere and makes the hardware look even more valuable, while all knobs and knobs are easily accessible. Even the metering per channel was considered, which can easily be read on the upper side. Phantom power and switches between line and instrument signals are also provided. The second headphone output with a separate volume control is also practical and not to be found too often on an interface of this size.
The included software is just as interesting and extensive. The following is included in the scope of delivery:
