The Mutec MC-1.2 USB Audio Interface is a high-performance USB audio interface which converts from USB to AES3, AES3id and S/P-DIF signals, and vice versa. The Mutec MC-1.2 USB Audio Interface creates uni- and bi-directional signal conversions, with asynchronous USB operation, USB audio stream isolation and conversion to 5 digital audio interfaces. Featuring low jitter audio clocks combined with ultra-low noise PCB design, this USB audio interface regenerates and improves USB audio streams. The MC-1.2 contains input sampling rate indicators, separated for USB and the digital audio inputs, as well as a bus-powered operation for mobile use and a built-in, international power supply. This USB audio interface is compatible with Apple Macintosh and Windows PCs, and comes with a black front panel.

The unit was very well packed and set up was easy. With my Mac 10.13.3 the 1.2 was found and worked immediately, indeed, functions at up to 192khz at 24bit. The Mac keypad audio functions all operate with it; level up & down, and cutting audio. But I keep the level to full and generally adjust with my DAC. The only negative has been gaining information about types of Digital Audio Input, the company were extremely helpful but I'm a musician and not an expert with digital formats and copying status... All in all Excellent!
