With the Music Man BFR StingRay Special Passive Natural Okoume 4-String E-Bass from the exclusive Ball Family Reserve series, the company from San Luis Obispo sends a passive version of their legendary success model into the race. Accordingly, a powerful Music Man neodymium humbucker, whose coils can be called up in different circuit variants by means of a rotary switch, provides multi-faceted bass sounds that can be precisely adjusted with the help of the volume control and the treble control. The push/pull switch in the volume control also activates a passive boost circuit that significantly increases the volume of the four-stringer. In addition to the satin-finished okoume body, the electric bass features a five-piece bolted roasted maple neck, which has extremely agile playing characteristics thanks to its pleasant Satin-Finish and narrow profile. Last but not least, a classic steel top-load bridge and lightweight Music Man Custom tuners complete the BFR StingRay Special Passive Natural Okoume by Music Man.
