The Moog Eurorack Case 17" features a width of 104HP and is made from aluminium including sliding nuts, screws and a power cable. With up to 1.9" module depth, this case is an extruded aluminium case with wooden sides. It requires a separate Eurorack power module for use.
The main features of the Moog Eurorack Case 17" include:
Eurorack Case
Width: 104HP
Depth: Up to 1.9"
Material: Aluminium & Wood
Includes: 16-Pin to 10-Pin Eurorack Power Cable (For Mother-32); Sliding Nuts; Screws
I installed a Befaco Passive Buss on the rear fairly easily. The mounting holes need to be drilled on the third flat surface 15mm from the angle with the second flat surface (after the MOOG logo surface)!
Thirteen headers was just enough for my particular project.
Having seen the adaptor plates, I now need to design a project to fit a second MOOG104 and join them together.
Although the specification gives 1.9" as the maximum depth; with most modules having the jacks at the bottom of the front Panel, it is surprising the variety of modules that will fit.
The only change I may make in the future is to install 18mm wide walnut ends to match all the other modular synths I have built.
