It is played by clamping the body between the legs, thus the mahogany playing surface is on the lap of the Cajon player. Inside is a passive pickup system with a robust output jack and separate controls for bass, snare and tone. The snare effect is created using high quality snare spirals, for a crisp, high and crisp sound.
Playing surface on the lap
