Cymbal Stack from the Meinl Artist Concept Series
The Meinl Double Down Stack 17"/18" is a cymbal stack from the Meinl Artist Concept series and bears the signature of none other than Matt Halpern, beatmaker of the progressive metal band Periphery and internationally successful teacher of drum clinics. The Double Down Stack consists of an 18" China and a 17" Crash, which can be combined in various ways.
Handmade from B20 bronze
Both cymbals come from Meinl's Byzance Dark and Traditional series, respectively, so they are handmade from precious B20 bronze. The thin cymbals produce a very fast and trashy sound when stacked, which is able to assert itself excellently and is a real asset not only for metal setups.
