Vintage Singlecut made from mahogany and maple

The unique design of the Maybach Convair is clearly based on typical electric guitar models from the sixties and seventies and follows the construction of traditional singlecut guitars. A solid mahogany body with an equally solid maple top is used, whose pearloid binding contributes to the authentic Vintage-Look of the Convair. Naturally, the mahogany neck in the Slim Taper D profile of the sixties guarantees the familiar feel and pure playing pleasure right up to the highest positions of the 22-fret ebony fingerboard.

Amber Spirit or 59 humbucker with Custom covers

The Maybach Convair Custom Shop Special '60 Slim Taper Aged Bullion Gold skillfully continues the fruitful collaboration between Maybach Guitars and Amber Pickups and features two Amber Spirit or 59 humbuckers in the neck and bridge positions. The boutique double coilers, wound by the German pickup pope Wolfgang Damm himself, are entirely in the spirit of the legendary P.A.F. humbucker and produce warm, characterful sounds, while the unique humbucker caps were designed by Nick Page and provide an additional visual highlight.
