Compact travel guitar with steel strings, pickup system and including bag.
With the Martin LX1E Little Martin, the traditional U.S. manufacturer presents its smallest acoustic guitar, which is perfect for use on the road and due to a built-in Fishman Sonitone pickup system also for the stage. Thanks to its solid Sitka spruce top, the 3/4 dreadnought produces a very clear and powerful sound that is interspersed with warm frequencies thanks to the mahogany-look HPL body. A short Rust-Birch laminate neck, with a black Richlite fingerboard, ensures easy playability across all 20 frets and is also not susceptible to climatic influences. For a clean intonation on the whole scale length of 584 mm, the manufacturer installs a saddle made of White-Corian and a compensated saddle made of GraphTech TUSQ, which are perfectly matched. Enclosed chrome tuners also guarantee precise tuning of the 6 steel strings, which are fixed with white plastic Bridge-Pins in the bridge. The Martin LX1E Little Martin comes with a sturdy carrying bag.

Very good guitar for its size. Many see the Little Martins as toys, but thats not the case - this guitar is full of life and offers such a unique sound.
Of course its very popular due to Ed Sheeran, but he has a signature LX1E now which features a sapele top instead of the spruce. Id say pick this one over the signature model - the spruce top sounds better, plus Ed seems to be slowly moving back toward this model, instead of the signature.
Action is decent, not too high, not too low. Very good sustain, plus the neck has a nice feel. The built in electronics are nice, and I really wouldnt swap it for the world.
Its the daddy of all travel sized guitars. Taylors baby Taylor is garbage compared to this, and Takamines attempt at a travel guitar is laughable. Brilliant guitar for students, a very high end guitar maybe for kids to learn on.
Cons: You could get a bigger sounding guitar for less money.
This guitars got everything you need! The action is not too high, nor too low. The sound is amazing thinking about Its size. It actually sounds like a much bigger guitar. Its really comfortable, even for adults.
The Martin LX1E is a great beginner guitar and an amazing travel guitar! All I can say is... Wow, holy pancake!
Brilliant guitar, although I was shocked by the size when I got it first I have truly fallen in love with it, the string action, scale length, neck width and everything else makes it so beautiful and easy to play. When plugged in the sound just gets even better, I would highly recommend this guitar to anyone :)
