12-string electroacoustic guitar, solid Sitka spruce top, HPL body, select hardwood neck, 645 mm scale length, including gig bag
The Martin D-X2E 12-string guitar is a redesign of the Mexican X-Series by the manufacturer Martin Guitars extending it by a well sounding 12-string dreadnought acoustic guitar. The design, consisting of a solid Sitka spruce top and an HPL body in a chic mahogany look, gives the instrument a very loud and at the same time clear sound, which subtly enhances the coveted "chorus effect" of a 12-string guitar. Part of the new construction of the D-X2E acoustic guitar is a flat select hardwood neck with matching fretboard, which in combination with a scale length of 645 mm and a nut width of 47.6 mm provides excellent playability. For use on stage, this instrument is equipped with a Fishman MX pickup system that reproduces the acoustic sound uncolored and authentically amplified. The Martin D-X2E 12-string guitar comes in a sturdy Martin soft gig bag.
