The 00-15 Retro features a solid Mahogany body, producing an extremely warm and punchy sound. About the Manufacturer Martin:
In 1833 the company CF Martin & Co was founded by the German emigrant Christian Friedrich Martin. Martin Guitars specializes in the production of high quality guitars and is based in Nazareth Pennsylvania, USA. The revolutionary X-Bracing method which provides the stability and load-bearing capacity essential for the construction of acoustic guitars was developed and perfected by CF Martin in the 1840s. Today the X-Bracing pattern is still considered one of the best and is the most widely used method in the construction of acoustic guitars. In 1916, Martin also invented the most famous acoustic guitar form: the Dreadnought.
