The MARSHALL Studio Classic SC20H Head Stealth delivers the legendary sound of the JCM800 2203 in a handy studio format. The Marshall Studio series amplifier, manufactured in England, draws up to 20 watts of power from its power amplifier with double EL34 configuration for rehearsals and jams, whereas the switchable Low Power mode limits the power amplifier output to 5 watts for rich sounds at room volume. Here, the classic single-channel circuit with master volume offers the classic response of the role model from clear clean to rich overdrive sounds. Visually, the compact Classic SC20H Head presents a limited Stealth design from the Marshall Design Store.
Switchable FX Loop & DI Out
Especially for use in studio environments, the MARSHALL Studio Classic SC20H offers additional connection options for effects and recording devices. The switchable FX loop on the rear panel allows additional effects devices to be looped between preamp and power amp, whereas the DI Out allows the signal to be passed on for monitoring or recording purposes. The integrated Speaker Emulation also provides authentic Marshall sounds in a direct way.
3-band EQ with Presence Control
As the most important sound factor of a single-channel amplifier, the Marshall Studio Classic SC20 Head features an extremely wide-ranging 3-band equalizer, whose controls for bass, treble and mid-range determine the basic sonic character from clear 'scooped' sounds to the familiar mid-warm Marshall leads. In addition, the compact Classic Head has a Presence control, which influences the treble reproduction of the power amp and provides additional treble bite if required.
