The traditionally styled five-string has a basswood body and a bolt-on maple neck with a slim "C" profile that promises high playability. Two Markbass single-coil pickups and the active Markbass 3-band tone control provide a flexible sound spectrum at the bass amplifier, which makes the E-Bass an all-rounder for almost every style of music. The traditionally styled basswood body promises optimal balance on both the strap and the thigh, while generous shaping on the front and back ensures a comfortable fit on the player. The bolt-on maple neck also features a narrow C-profile with a nut width of just 36 mm, promising extremely agile playing characteristics even during long gigs or studio sessions.

Flexible sound with pickups and electronics from Markbass

The Markbass Gloxy Val's flexible electronics elicit versatile bass tones from the bass amp, providing the right foundation for almost any style of music. Two Markbass J-style single-coil pickups provide traditional sounds with a deep yet transparent low end or wiry assertiveness that also reproduce the H-string with punch and precision. The active Markbass 3-band equalizer allows the precise adjustment of the tone. If desired, the bass guitar can be played in traditional passive mode, with a dedicated treble slider to adjust the sound.

Last but not least, Markbass completes the GV5 Gloxy Val Black CR MP E-Bass with a traditional and indestructible hardware setup.
