The Markbass Big Band Black Edition is a compact bass amplifier that offers rich performance and a wide range of sounds at an attractive price. With a modern Class D power amp, the compact top unit delivers a powerful 500 watts that provide more than sufficient volume reserves for the next band rehearsal or next gig. To adjust the sound, a 4-band tone control is available, which is supplemented by the typical controls for the Vintage Loudspeaker Emulator (VLE) and the Variable Preshape Filter (VPF), so that every timbre between Vintage and Modern is covered. A serial effect path is also available for looping in effects, while the bass signal is picked up via the balanced line out with level control and pre/post switch in the recording studio or on stage. Last but not least, a jack and a Speakon socket are available for connecting loudspeakers.
