The Channel Saver from Make Noise is a very practical tool for editing, mixing and bending control voltages. The top and middle units are attenuators that can be used to attenuate and invert a voltage. If no cable is connected to the respective input, the corresponding unit functions as a fixed voltage generator with an adjustable voltage range of +/- 5 volts for unit 1 and +/- 8 volts for unit 2. The lower unit serves as a crossfader, summer, inverter and adder for two supplied control voltages. Units 1 and 2 are normalized to inputs A and B; as soon as a cable is connected, this signal is used. The module is a gain for almost every Eurorack modular system where precise tuning of CVs is important. In combination with the Dual MATHS function generator, even more complex modulation sequences can be created.
