As the legitimate descendant of the legendary Fuzz-Tone FZ-1, the Maestro Fuzz-Tone FZ-M delivers a premium fuzz sound that is versatile enough to adapt to both classic and modern tonal ideas. In Classic mode, the guitar pedal delivers the distinctive, slightly nasal Sixties sound of the FZ-1, while Modern mode promises a full sound. In addition to the Attack control for precise adjustment of distortion, Maestro equips the Fuzz-Tone FZ-M with a Tone control for tone and the Level pot for volume.
I have Fuzz Face on germanium, Carl Martin fuzz, Triangle Big Muff and just bought Maestro Fuzz. It seems this the best. But of cause you should try different amps and guitars. I am looking for vintage sound, so Maestro is the best choice for me by now)
