Mackie's Onyx Artist 1-2 converters not only impress with a high 24-bit/192 kHz resolution and first-class analogue circuitry, but also with a robust steel housing, which makes it ideal as a companion for singer/songwriters, composers and mobile recordings. The audio interface offers an Onyx microphone preamplifier with switchable phantom power as well as a jack or TRS-Line input with Hi-Z switch for operating guitars or basses. Plus latency-free direct monitoring and a powerful headphone output for fast, high-quality recording at any time. The rear panel also offers two balanced line outputs for studio monitors, while the power is supplied via a USB interface.
To round off the already very good overall picture of the Mackie Onyx Artist 1x2, the Tracktion T7 music production software (including a DAW Essentials Collection) is included in the package.
