Based on a legendary effect unit from the early 80s, the compact pedal offers a straightforward layout with controls for intensity, volume and tone, so the right tone can be found quickly and intuitively. The switches for input and output levels also allow the pedal to be adjusted to its position within the signal chain or the level of the effect loop of the guitar amp used. The MXR EVH 5150 Chorus also features an internal true-bypass or buffered-bypass switch.
