The UltraLite-mk5 provides flexible and portable USB2 audio connectivity for your computer with ultra-low latency and superb analog sound quality at sample rates up to 192 kHz and 24-bit resolution. Plus, it delivers all the inputs and outputs you need, including two combo XLR/jack mic/line/hi-Z guitar inputs, six analog line-level inputs, ten analog outputs, 8-channel optical digital adat ports, S/PDIF digital I/O, MIDI I/O, and a headphone output.
The UltraLite-mk5 is housed in a compact, rugged enclosure that you can take anywhere. It's equally suited for studio and stage, with or without a computer. As an interface or standalone mixer, the UltraLite-mk5 offers 18 inputs and 22 outputs for a total of 40 channels.

It was easy to set up out of the box, and straight away I noticed how nice the preamps sound. The i/o capability is excellent, runs my outboard units like a charm. I've also expanded the i/o using the optical connection to my Octopre Mkii so I have a further 8 ins and 8 outs. Highly recommended!
Bought this for its great connectivity. Going to use this in a hybrid set up, running my sub groups to of the DAW into the Motu and into an SSL Six. Haven't done it as yet but the Motu has real expansion possibilities.
