The Line 6 Spider IV 75 offers incredibly detail rich modelling of the best and most popular amplifiers of all time. Now featuring an integrated tuner, crisp response and even better sounds!
With the current generation of the world famous Spider models, the modeling pioneer Line 6 is setting new benchmarks for realistic sounds and authentic playability. This amplifier series is specially suited for practice sessions and small gigs. Next to the detailed sound image of tube-typical compression and juicy address, the Spider Series is exceptionally well suited as a fantastic jam partner for play-a-longs and jam tracks with an AUX input for CD/MP3 players.
With its 75 Watts of output power, the Line 6 Spider IV 75, with help from its 12” large speaker, this modelling middle-weight can assertive itself against Drums and Bass in the band mix. A large palette of amplifier models from Clean to High, ”- which are selectable via the optional FBV Express Board via footswitch, can be saved on 4 internal memory spaces and can then be later reloaded.
In addition, the free “Spider IV Edit” software from Line 6 provides near infinite possibilities, share saved creations with others Spider users, browse Jam tracks or master online lessons sorted by degrees of difficulty. The base sound of these modelling amplifiers is determined by the underlying Amp Model: Clean ensures a sustain-rich, clean sound character which stays together even at slightly at higher gain levels. If you are specifically looking for this effect in order to have dynamic Cleans to slightly dirty sounds, then you will love the crunch. Metal and Insane offer the typical Rhythm as well as Lead High Gain axes of the modern metal genre. Regardless of the Model the Spider IV 15 even provides adjustable modulation effects including delay and reverb, whereby a modulation effect (Chorus Flange / Phaser / Tremolo) can be combined with a reverb or delay effect (Echo / Tape Echo / Reverb Sweep).
The Spider IV-Amps offer over 250 Super Sounds that were programmed by or copied from real stars. The LC-Display is larger and the menu structure is simpler. The SHARC processor gives these amp models sound even more powerful and better. The models were borrowed from the POD X3 but were tuned to the Spider IV. Trusted “Smart” effect control for fast sound adjustments. Up to 6 effect parameters can be edited. The effects can be used either “Pre” or “Post”.
Line 6 Spider IV 75 Guitar Amp Combo I have changed my 150w line6 ii for this one because i didnt need so much power and let me tell you, i dot regret it at all. This amp has great power with the only problem of when you try to reach the max the sound is not so good any more. Anyhow, its perfect for thoes who has a cover band, it will do all the work more than well. All the tones that it bings into it are enough to play basicly everything, but if even so, you are not happy with it you can connect it to your pc (throu the pedal) and tune it all your way. A great aquisition for this is the fbv shortboard, to connect to pc and because it makes your live very simple between channels and chanel pages...i definitly recomend
A solid built amp with loads of features, the power is amazing if anything it can be too powerful for home use. One important issues is that when you go for this Amp order the FBV foot controller as well as you will need this to update the Amps software which will give you access to many more pre-set sounds. I feel its been built primarily for the Heavy Metal brigade and I would like to see more other sound options in the pre-sets (but you can get more on-line). Overall a great Amp and a good price you cant go wrong.
